For those of you who don't know about this event,it's time you learned. If you've had a child in this school district in the last decade then chances are good your child has benefited in some way because of this foundation.

The Foundation was an outgrowth of the SOS committee started to pass the school bond in 1997.After the bond passed and the bills were paid, they had $10,000 left over and decided to begin the CUSD Educational Foundation.

To Date we have spent $200,000. (two hundred thousand dollars) on projects for students in CUSD; The money is divided between mini grants, 56 scholarships for graduating seniors and special projects. We have provided arts money to schools on three occasions. We purchased sound systems for the three new multipurpose rooms. We have helped the Toyon choir go to Carnegie Hall. We have sent numerous students to conferences. We have helped with expenses for the Community Club's Pioneer Days, etc.

You can support this wonderful Foundation by making a cash donation, purchasing tickets to attend the event or donating a silent or live auction item.
