Fire Near Highway 26

A fire in Calaveras County near Sacramento, California started on the night of May 30th. It now covers 36 acres of vegetation near Highway 26 in Valley Springs, CA, but no homes are at risk. Motorists can still travel on the highway. Several fire trucks from other neighboring counties also came out to fight the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
