Isaiah Fowler appeared in court on May 15th, his first appearance in the stabbing death of his sister. After initially deciding to not allow the media into the courtroom, the court reversed course due to the nature of the crime. The next court appearance is scheduled for May 29th, a continuance was granted due to the Fowler's need to relocate their residence. Isaiah Fowler has not entered a plea with the court.

The child accused of killing Leila Fowler is due in court Wednesday, March 15th. The child is being represented by Attorney Mark Reichel, who stated that his client may have lied about seeing a man exit the house on the day of Leila's murder. Reichel has successfully defended others accused of crimes, including members of the Homng community accused of trying to overthrow the government of Laos.

A twelve year old child has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Leila Fowler. This news coincides with the Sheriff's Office release of the 911 tape of Leila's step-mother. In the tape, Crystal Walters tells the police that there is an intruder at her house. Due to the age of the arrested child, he cannot be tried as an adult.

The 911 call involving the murder of eight year old Leila Flower has been released. Leila's brother has been arrested in Leila's murder, but the family is standing behind the twelve year old. The 911 call was made by Leila's father's fiance. Leila's father thanked the community for it's support.

The news conference was canceled and the head of the family, Barney wanted to give thanks to the community for everything they'd done anyway. The family faced a tragedy when their 12 year old son was accused of killing his sister.

There was a 15 year old child hurt as a dune buggy overturns in Copperopolis area of Calaveras county. Luke vanvliet was traveling down a trail of the 2000 block of Horseshoe Drive at about 3:30 p.m. He tried to save himself from overturning by putting his arm out. He is in the hospital with a serious injury that is unspecified at this time.

The article talks about a candle light vigil that was held at Jenny Lind Elementary School two days after one of its students, 8 year old Leila Fowler, was killed. Leil'a 12 year old brother is suspected of killing his sister, yet, he was still in attendance at the vigil in Valley Springs, California.

Although police remain optimistic that they will find one, there is no suspect in this crime. Hundreds of homes are being searched, and researched, while the FBI has sent in dogs that are specially trained to search for blood trails. Divers are searching a nearby pond and the Sherrif's Office has begun to receive analysis of the evidence it has collected.

Divers and police dogs continue to search for clues regarding Lelia Fowler. The Sheriff's office remains optimistic that it will find a culprit in the stabbing death of this eight year old child. SCUBA divers are searching for evidence and a third dive was scheduled for March 8th, 2013. However; police were unable to comment on exactly what kind of evidence they were searching for. No new evidence is ready to be released, as of this date.

The Results Are In!

The results are in for this year's professional wine judging competition. This event has taken place at the Calaveras County fair for the past 33 years. Over 260 wines were entered into the competition. Twenty five professional wine judges set to the task of tasting and judging each wine, spending over five hours doing so.
