Snyder's Valley Springs Pow Wow
Welcome! Thanks for visiting our blog! Next year will be the 33rd Annual Snyder's Valley Springs Pow Wow! With upwards of 20,000 visitors out at the ranch you wont want to miss this fun time! May 4, 5, & 6, 2007 is a great time to be outside and observe this natural area. The local wildlife, flowers, and fuzzy headed herefords corraled for the weekend are abundant! Besides all the wonderful rocks, gems and minerals you will find almost every community club out there running a booth of some sort to help raise money for their cause. Our gathering of friends is exactly what pow wow means. Everyone enjoys time with friends and celebrates all the beautiful gifts the earth provides us. If you would like to hae a booth for your fundraiser or just have a question about the pow wow please call Diana Gigliotti at (209) 772-1777 or Betty Snyder at 772-1265

Snyder's Valley Springs Pow Wow
Howdy! Did you join us up here in the golden foothills for our pow wow this year? We had great weather and an even better time! Next year will be our 34th year gathering with old friends and new alike out in pasture on John and Betty Snyders Ranch. Over 200 vendors, Children's Day with activities for education, Native American Dancing, Mountain Men Demonstrations and new next year all the way from down south...a chuck wagon demonstration! Come see how they prepared foods and carried supplies on the cattle drives. The community uses the pow wow as one of their largest opportunities to raise money for all their worthwhile causes and to sit and visit with folks that come from near and wide. We are a small community and so many of our children count on these organizations for support that it turns out to be a great time for all! Camping, eating home made food, Radio Controlled airplanes, old horse and buggy music-you name it there is something for everyone! Come sit and just listen to the old chuggin of the antique steam engines and admire all the old Model A's. Oh the stories you can hear! Did we mention every rock, gem, mineral and fossil is available you can imagine? Call Diana Gigliotti at (209) 772-1777 or Betty Snder at (209) 772-1265 with any questions or reservations.
