Volunteers Needed: Historical Burson School Painting Aug 29-30
On September 26, the Wallace/Burson Association is hosting a Reunion of folks who attended the Wallace and Burson one-room schools at any time in the past. The Burson School building has been moved to the grounds of Valley Springs Elementary School, and is in desperate need of a new paint job. The requirements would be -
SATURDAY August 29, several volunteers with their own high-pressure washers to blow away old flaking paint and do general prep and cleanup,
SUNDAY August 31, lots of volunteers with brushes, sprayers, ladders, removable masking tape to get the new paint on.
Valley Springs Home Center's Kevin Squire has graciously agreed to donate the paint, thanks Kevin!
