Recreational trails

Hello all,

I would like to encourage you to attend the Council of Governments meeting on Wednesday night, May 9th, at 6:30 pm. - Supervisors C hambers. The COG will be discussing the award of $300,000 to Foothill Communities Parks & Recreation for the purpose of establishing a trial system that will run from La Contenta, along Hwy 26 toward town.

Ryan Voorhees has provided a trail easement, and this will be the first leg of what we hope will be a trail system eventually connecting to the elementary school.

We now have the cooperation of Valley Springs PUD to act as our government sponsor, and to assist us with maintenance of the trail system.

NOW, we need a show of community support, and I encourage you to forward this email to anyone in your address book that is interested in a trail system. Please try to attend this meeting.
